About ATL RespOrg | The Original Independent Responsible Organization Established 1993
ATL Independent Resp Org (RespOrg) Services was founded in 1993 by Aelea Christofferson after a successful career with Pacific Bell. While with Pacific Bell Christofferson served as representative to the national committee who designed toll free number portability and defined the Independent RespOrg.
In April 1993 ATL became a RespOrg along with the major carriers as the industry entered toll free portability. Since that time ATL led as the first independent Resp Org, one of the first companies to utilize the database for sophisticated multi-carrier routing.
Additional RespOrg Services
ATL President Aelea Christofferson provides consulting services to Carriers, Business, Telecom Consultants and the FCC on complex issues concerning toll free numbers.
